Re: Aggregator opinions
Larry Frye, Wabash College Head Librarian
What do librarians think about OCLC overall?
Very positive - the board of directors is librarians -
Are they easy to work with (re: licensing, access, offerings, technical
support, etc.)?
yes
Are their licenses reasonable? yes
I see Ovid building the same type of service. Do their offerings overlap
enough that libraries can choose one or the other? my preference is OCLC
Do libraries prefer working with aggregators as opposed to individual
products? YES YES
Thanks in advance for you time and effort in responding.
Regards,
Kathy King, Production Editor
